John Wesley's New Room in Bristol is the oldest Methodist building in the world. Historic chapel and museum of John & Charles Wesley's life and work in Bristol. Founded in 1739. The chapel is open to visitors throughout the year and is set out as it was in the Wesleys' time. The preachers' rooms upstairs now contain the Arts Council accredited museum, including John Wesley's private rooms. Update description
